Reaching out for help is never easy. It’s hard to admit to yourself that you need someone to talk to, it’s even more exhausting searching for the right person. Searching makes you feel vulnerable and it’s time consuming. If you’re like me, you probably read about each Doctor and their qualifications before you contact them. Most of the Doctors I contacted waited days to get back to me and some didn’t respond at all. It seemed hopeless. The first time I contacted Dr. Jeter I knew she was different. She responded almost immediately. She took an interest and genuinely cared about my situation. We talked every other week for a few months. Sure, some days are better than others. Some days you struggle to find the right words, or any words at all, but she understands. She doesn’t cast judgement. She sheds light on things you've overlooked.
