Had my dog boarded here twice. Last night I picked him up and nobody gave me any info on how he was over the weekend so I figured all was well. Upon further inspection I noticed he had blood on his collar and the collar they put on him. He had also chewed through his gentle leader collar. Usually they will use their own leash when they take him at drop off but they said they’d use mine so I said it was fine. The only way my dog chews thru his face collar is if he is left unattended with it on for an extended period of time. I also noticed he seemed to have been bathed after I picked him up. I called about an hour after getting him home when I noticed everything and they were a little rude and told me anyone who would know anything went home for the day. Ridiculous. I mean there was blood on the collar. I waited for them to call back this morning and obviously the woman was nervous talking to me just spewing random info and guesses at what took place. She offered to pay for the collar replacement and I will take them up on that. I could’ve pressed for more info but realized it was a waste of my time as I’ll likely never know what actually took place and my dog seems fine today with no scabs or cuts that I could find after checking him out last night and today. I just won’t board him here again or use their vet service which I was also way less than thrilled with the two times I took my pup. I’d steer clear of this place and go elsewhere which is exactly what I’ll be doing going forward. EDIT: see photo of response I received with the reimbursement check. Zero accountability let alone an apology. Only concerned about another truthful negative review. And, it reads as if they’re firing us as clients. Lol, I already said I was done with your establishment, Dr. Rutkowski!

When visiting this vet, you better hope all goes well because the lack of attention to the animals and families is awful. It's a dingy, dirty vet office that hasn't been cleaned since 1984. The only great veterinarian who worked there has left. Please be aware, they will tell you to rehome your cats over a minor skin irritation issue because they swear the cats are fighting and scratching each other. Nope, minor skin issue. New vet took care of it and for a nice price. Avoid at all cost.
