We love Playful Pups Retreat and would never board our fur babies anywhere else. 2 of our dogs are very shy and timid. Our youngest is very outgoing and loves everyone! The staff at Playful Pups knew how to interact with all of them perfectly to make them comfortable. We received updates and photos ad knew our pups were being loved and taken care of.

We’re always happy with Playful Pups, the reason for 4 stars basically comes down to price. It’s getting expensive to go away for a week long vacation. We do pay extra for nature walks, no pups should have to stay solely in their kennels. All in all, it’s a nice facility.

We use playful pups at least once a year, and generally for 7 days. Each time we pick up our dog, Harry, and take him home he acts like he never left! We have peace of mind leaving him at playful pups and will continue to use them

We sure do! Socialization is important for all dogs BUT it is especially crucial for puppies. We have a special program for babies 9 weeks to 4 months of age called Puppy Social Skills. During our puppy daycare your furry baby will get to play with other puppies, as well as adult dogs who can help to teach them proper doggie etiquette. We also work on crate training, potty training, helping to build confidence through enriching activities like agility and basic training cues. Our puppy experts introduce them to new experiences such as grooming, nail trims, being handled on a grooming table as well.
Yes, we do require all dogs have an evaluation before coming for daycare. This can be a half day or full day evaluation and will help our team learn more about your pup and how they play with other dogs. We place all of our dogs intro groups based on size, age, play style and temperament. Safety is our priority, of course followed by socialization and lots of FUN for every dog who attends daycare with us. Our amazing team of daycare counselors are highly trained in dog body language, canine calming signals and dog play styles and we want every dog to receive mental and physical stimulation while they are with us Give us a call for more details and to set up an evaluation for your dog!
