Excellent Metro station with a working accessible elevator and all three escalators working. The station is clean, safe and well-maintained.

This is the first station along the red line that goes underground. It is very convenient to places like NIH. The station has signs throughout making it easy to navigate. Like other stations along the red line, the escalators are very long. Overall a great metrorail station.

Convenient location for a metro station. Walking distance from the Walter Reed Medical Center and NIH. The station is also close to Chevy Chase and has access to all the suburbs around the area. Long escalator to access the station, and a bus bay outside. The fairgates are working and trains are usually on time with LED displays that show when the next trains are arriving. Clean but not 100% spotless so good job WMATA.

Yes, just turn right from the southbound lane and follow the signs.

There is no parking. I suggest you go to groverner, where parking is free on Sunday and costs $5.20 for the weekdays and $5 for Saturday.
