Came to Broadway Nail Salon to get a pedicure. I had a cauterization procedure on my big toes two months ago due to a history of ingrown toenails. My doctor cleared me to be able to get pedicures as they are healed completely. The side of the nails are still rigid, but other than that, there are no issues. I made this clear to the man during my pedicure before we started so that he would not dig too deeply on the side of my toenails. He insisted that my feet were “dirty” (I always shower and wash my feet directly before nail appointments). He tried to start an argument with me about my “infected feet” and the “severe fungal infection” I had. He proceeded to call another employee over to loudly speak about my feet and how dirty I was. They laughed about it for several minutes while they both looked at my feet. This experience was beyond embarrassing for me and I cannot imagine how this would’ve played out for someone who has ongoing issues with their feet or an actual fungal infection. I will never return to the salon. Very unprofessional! See attached picture of my “dirty, infected” feet.
