This review isn't what you'd normally expect in a review of a branch library. I didn't go inside. I do all my reading from a digital library. My wife needed to use the bathroom while we were passing through Greenwood, DE on the way to the beach. She tells me the library was neat and clean. The librarian was friendly, and the bathroom was clean. I stayed outside and took pictures of the picturesque little train station in the library's parking lot. I doubt that any trains actually stop here, but they keep the station clean.

I have utilized my hometown library the Greenwood Delaware Library multiple times since moving here from the Kansas City Metro Area a little over 4 years ago and the staff members have been ultra user friendly, helpful, informative, respectful, resourceful and professional. They have always been there to help me when utilizing the internet or printing documents. I'm Retired from the US Army after 20 years and then almost 15 years with the Federal Government and feel that the attributes that I have mentioned are more than accurate. I don't know how many times they are told these 2 words "THANK YOU" so I thought maybe posting a comment here maybe would make them feel good about the accolades and more people will visit their hometown library.

I requested online library card for using Libby. I am a Maryland resident with Delaware summer house. First the librarian asked me to get my Delaware address which I did, but then she said she still cannot do the online library card at the library after about half an hour of waiting and discussions. She said she was only capable of providing me a physical card at the branch which is completely not true because she could have very easily registered me online on her computer. Meanwhile there was not one person in the library other than three staff doing absolutely nothing.
