The food was very interesting. We decided not to get sushi, despite this being a sushi place, so we weren't sure what to expect. We ordered the char siu bao and pork siu mai as appetizers. The char siu bao was very different from the traditional ones I've had, with lap cheong and small char siu pieces and a good helping of sauce inside the bao. The siu mai was good, tasted home made. My only gripe about it would be the price, which was $8 for 4 pieces. Most dim sum places serve this same amount for $6 or less. It is also not listed as a siu mai, but as "pork dim sum". They also have a "shrimp dim sum", which is probably har gao. Both the bao and siu mai were served with side sauces of hoisin and sriracha. We both ordered the Shoyu ramen, which came with wonton noodles, a soy sauce egg, wontons, and marinated bamboo shoots. The ramen brother was a little sweet and salty, it was pretty good for this not being a ramen place. They give plenty of noodles in the soup so you won't leave hungry. I would love to come back and try their sushi, since that's their main commodity. Service was great and friendly. The atmosphere was quiet.

Update 3/18/2022: So I tried this place out a second time and got the scallop special nigiri, escolar (white tuna) sashimi, and Namikazi roll. Escolar was good, but the other two lacked flavor again! And get this, the charge 25 cents each for eel sauce and Sriracha on the side!!! That's like a diner charging you for ketchup! I've never seen that before in any sushi spot. I'm not returning here again. Only good thing is the staff. I really wanted to like this place, but the 2 rolls I got didn't taste good at all. Nambomb and Red & White rolls lacked flavor even though the ingredients looked great. Staff were great so I'm still giving it 4 stars. Maybe the place was having an off day...

Busy lunchtime QUICKIE with my Bo. Didn't have much time but Service was great! The Tuna Tartare was to DIE for, as were the homemade chips. Lobster Rangoon had CHUNKS of lobster & a flaky, light batter. So delishhh, I could eat every meal at Nam. Highly HIGHLY recommend.

I have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. I have ordered pretty much everything on the menu at this point and they have the best sushi and ramen in town! The appetizers and soup are delicious. Atmosphere is very calming and it is always clean. The owners and staff are always very friendly, helpful and extremely hard working. The fish is always very fresh and high quality.
