normally when I want to just do a lil hanky panky I run off to the Jack London Inn but this time I chose Harris hotel because my dyslexic brain said it was close to MacArthur BART. Wrong it's on MacArthur but like San Leandro! I'm not even going to address the check-in process because they're used to transient people and they have their battle armor on... We're talking about being surprised when you walk in the room I mean the outside of the place really says "yeah I'm incognito on the wrong side of town", but you open the door to a clean nicely appointed room with a mattress that doesn't treat you like a taco in the morning and added pillow points, drom roll, mirrors on the headboard!! But the bathroom was the most pleasant part of it all. Completely tiled spacious bathroom that could have been in a four-star hotel. I even told the guy when I was leaving that it really needed to jack up the rates especially on weekends. And being a notel motel "I don't want to offend the owners but that's what it appears to be" they didn't charge a deposit. . So if you're on the DL, doing that voodoo that you shouldn't be doing, check out the Harris you'll love the bathroom and the mirrors on the bed are touch risque.

Not my first choice but it was a reasonable value. Small amenities were provided along with a television. Couldn’t change the channel because remote wasn’t working but didn’t mind watching the documentary on Fuse. Staff was friendly and had no problem checking in and out!

Not a nice place to stay. Room smelled bad. Bed sheet was with hole and dirty. Google review of 3 star was deceiving. Not recommended.

A friend of mine got me a room here because I was healing after having surgery. For the low price we paid for the night I was pleasently surprised😁. The room was very clean, the tv had decent cable, the bed comfy and with clean sheets n linens, and the bathroom spacious with newer fixtures. It was quiet and the stay was peaceful.
