I've lived in at least 10 towns over the last 40 years. And I recently retired so I have some experience in this area. But I must tell you Westminster city government is very poorly run. When I call for a question on road preparations for upcoming storms, I only get the answering messages of people and no call backs. When I contacted the water and sewer department regarding identification of sewer and water lines so that I don't damage them, I was blatantly lied to by a person who worked in the department who told me they would come out and mark the areas,but never did. The city police department is about the highlight of Westminster government because the police officers do their jobs, and that's encouraging. But, all in all, the government that runs the city of Westminster is generally very poor. It's really a shame because it's a nice town and it's a growing area but there doesn't seem to be any ability for the employees there to have quality control and verification for when citizens reach out For assistance with public matters. Ends up being a lose-lose, instead of a win-win for everyone. Most unfortunate.
