Rented a storage online and did not have the option to remove the lock they force you to get. I have my own lock so I Called and the guy tells me Usually people call to have the lock removed and since I didn’t call, I just have to deal with it. Then I mentioned how online it says the lock can be returned if unopened. I confirmed that with they guy and he says yea, that’s correct. I get to the storage today and the lock is on the ground, open! He initially tried making me believe I couldn’t return it to making sure I could not return it. I will be back when they reopen. Update: Spoke with the site manager who was apologetic and gave an explanation…I was able to return the lock & she credited my account for the cost. Besides my particular renting process, the facility is nice. My unit is nice & very clean and will definitely fit everything I need to get in there.
