I recently had the opportunity to work with Gabrielle Guarneri on a mortgage closing for a condo unit in my building. I am taking the time to write this review because her client service and professionalism were well beyond what I had expected. She was extremely conscientious and genuinely exhibited a desire to ensure that all my questions were thoroughly answered. That was very much appreciated.

I applied to rent a condo in NYC and people from Maxwell-Kates helped with both the application process and managing the building itself. I have to say that they made the experience as pleasant and as streamlined as possible and can't recommend them enough. I'll start with the application process. The agent who helped me, Gabrielle, went above and beyond to be really helpful in this process. She was very thorough in looking over my documents, catching some errors I made before I submitted the application, which helped prevent delays from back-and-forth corrections. She was also very responsive and thorough in replying and was very professional throughout, even though I had a good number of questions. Was truly great to work with and highly recommend her. My experience working with Kim as the property manager has been excellent as well. Thus far she's been really responsive and has greatly exceeded my expectations in terms of professionalism and helpfulness with the move process. She's also been very responsive and a great resource in helping me sort everything out and has been exceedingly patient with me as I navigate a tight moving schedule. Just a great person to work and interact with and cannot thank her enough. Both Gabrielle and Kim have been magnificent, hence the lengthy and happy review, and are just doing some great work out here in NYC. Thank you both!

Maxwell Kates along with Josh H. in particular, served our difficult building well for years. I managed the building myself for a period of time, and had to take it from Sponsor to management during Superstorm Sandy. Our building got hit hard. There was much work to do, and many problems to work out. Their long standing reputation got us entry to vendors when that alone was hard. The company is large enough to call upon other professionals within for resources and second opinions. In house counsel was very useful numerous times. Josh was/is a hard working, conscientious, logical, reasonably easy to get a hold of building manager that was able to juggle unit owners requests along with building demands well. Would highly recommend.
