Great place for the family! Swimming, kayak, canoe, and paddle board rentals, some hiking trails, and boating! The campsites are mostly spaced out, some are tighter but overall there is plenty of room. Plan ahead, nearest large store is 20minutes one way away.

The best seat in the house. On the water, next to the bathroom and peaceful. We even had the excitement of the park rangers recovering a honey bee swarm that was right next to our site. The bathrooms and showers were great and the other guests are very social. There is a big bull frog nearby and a small heard of deer that may walk through after dark. Given the opportunity we will come back to this campground again. The site shown is A47.

Beautiful park. Four separate Campground loops, A-D. Some with lake(river) at your back door. Very strict on the late check-in (read occupy site) time. We got in around noon ok...paid $46.33 for one night for a 26 ft class c 30amp.

Beautiful park with lost of option for hiking, fishing, and biking! The park was quite clean and we rode 6.5 miles through the forest and on beaches. Will definitely return!

Hi! I work here. There is not an entrance fee but you are not allowed to use showers unless you are a camping or pool customer and park closes at 10 and you just tell the guard your name and campsite to enter.
No they don't rent paddle boats but they rent Kayaks row boats canoes houseboats
Yes. Bring a grill or use one of the many set up by picnic tables at the swimming area.
You don't need a pass. Unless you are using a camp site.
Yes it's great with wooded area paths too
Hales Bar Marina has floating cabins. Nicely rated for this time of year and Island cabins and just 15 minutes from Chattanooga and about 10 minutes from Jasper. Been there stay there beautiful place
