The woman would process my return because it wasn’t specifically from their store even though the website says the return policy is that you can return items bought from a GGW location to any other GGW location. She also told me I couldn’t return shoes, which GGW website says is a returnable item.

Busy store, sometimes hard to find a parking spot. There are some good finds, but many items are damaged and overpriced for their current condition. Redicilous no return policy!

I work in the area so I've been to this one many times. I usually end up buying something even if it's just a small item. I've found pretty good screens and small furniture.

I have been making donations here (thousands of dollars worth of quality clothes, toys, household goods etc.) for many years. No more. On two occasions in the last several months, I have been met by a bad-mannered, rude, and unhelpful woman working at the drop off site (older white woman). I have to deal with enough unpleasant people in life, I definitely don’t need it while making a donation to charity. Took my stuff to another charity nearby and had the complete opposite experience. Bring your stuff somewhere else.

Call ahead but they do take on site donation.
Hi John, Goodwill of Greater Washington is open for donations. However, the hours for donations are 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, daily. To view more details on hours, locations or directions visit our website: https://www.dcgoodwill.org/donation/donation-centers/
They nay have. Please check with them as items are added and change weekly.
Goodwill and Salvation Army as well other Organizations... WILL NOT ACCEPT METTRESS.. . The Reason is Hygiene, but if you ever want to call both organizations for other Items
Yes, they take drop offs...I know they don't take box TVs, and they don't usually take xmas items till November. Other than that, I'm not sure, though you can probably find a list of what they won't take online
It's open seven days a week from 11 to 9
You could also check with your local SPCA, as they may need sheets and towels for the kennels.
I don't understand Spanish, sorry...
Yes, we do accept both formats (DVD and VHS) for donations.
