I have been to better Cracker Barrels. To be honest, this one ranks kind of towards the lower end for me. The food itself was good, same as any other CB. The service, however, was rather lacking. We stood at the host stand for around 8 minutes while a younger guy was there. He looked at us, we told him we were a party of 2, and he looked back down at the screen and did not talk to us. A younger lady came by later and briefly swapped places with him and also did not acknowledge us, but when we asked her if there was a table available she said "sorry we're in the middle of something" and walked away. Eventually the younger guy came back and took us to a table, but all in all it took around 11 minutes from when we walked in. I understand being busy and not being able to accommodate people immediately, or having some sort of problem come up - that's not an issue. But it would have been nice to be told that, or even be acknowledged. The frontend staff's communication with us was poor - never offered and barely reciprocated. They honestly just seemed young and unaware that we couldn't hear what they could in their earpieces, so we never knew what was going on. Our waiter was quick and attentive, friendly.

The food at this location was fantastic. We came for a Saturday lunch and there was a short wait, but it was totally worth it. They have the best pancakes I've ever had and their country fried pork chops were very delicious and nicely cooked. Their sausage was okay and their eggs were under seasoned. Their corn muffins and grits weren't that great, but their biscuits were nice and fluffy. The fried apples were good too. I definitely would return to this location. The food is very affordable too. Next time I will definitely have to try their chocolate cake!

In Cracker Barrell you can always get a job. I have seen that the employees there are always serving for a long time. ------------- At Cracker Barrell employees remain longterm. Employment there seems reliable.
Negative. First come, first serve. If there is a wait period, you may go online and sign up to be placed on the wait list. If the host calls out your party's name and no one answers, they you will be deleted from the queue, and you will need to be placed on the queue, again.
No they do not. At least they shouldnt since it is against company policy. Long story on that
No, most - if not all - locations do not serve alcohol. It's their company policy. Also, the other people who answered this question with a 'I don't know', don't do that. It doesn't help anyone.
Yes! Cracker Barrel is open during regular business hours on Thanksgiving Day and serving a traditional Thanksgiving meal beginning at 11 am. Make sure to use the Online Wait List to lessen your wait time.
