More diversity needed at this location!! The Judge seems fair also the nice ladies working in the back office are wonderful. But the Court Officers - one in particular obviously treat individuals different based on RACE< We watched over and over again his display of prejudice towards minorities. This has to STOP! his own personal views of SUPERIORITY needs to checked & a Supervisor present to ensure fairness. I will visit this facility again very soon. if NO changes i will take the matter to Governors Office & FILE A COMPLAINT with the Unified Court System.

I had all the evidence in my favor and the opposing party lied and falsified documents and accepted that case and even won it and did not even give me the opportunity to explain everything in my opinion very bad

Yes. As long as the defendant lives in Western Suffolk county
Good luck! Seriously. Search for online forms for a small claims action. When you've completed it, mail it to the address for the business, all addresses you can find. If that doesn't resolve it, you'll have to serve the papers to them. Look that up for a business. I'm not a lawyer, that just from my experience. I heard that court action against a business can resolve things very quickly because they don't want bad press.
Small claims, so it should be
Call 911 if you are threatened. Get legal help - see https://www.nycourts.gov/LegacyPDFS/courts/10jd/suffolk/PDF/Suffolk-County-Housing-Referrals-Legal-Only-English.pdf
Send a written request and a stamped self addressed envelope to the 3rd district court clerk
If you are an individual, suing a defendant with a mailing address in Hauppauge, for money damages only, you may file your small claim in any of the 5 district court courthouses. See nycourts.gov/suffolkdistrict and look for small claims forms.
See “What happens in Court on the court date?” on http://ww2.nycourts.gov/COURTS/10jd/suffolk/dist/landlordtenant.shtml#court
Usually you can...it depends on what kind of case and how old it is...call the court clerk for procedure
Are you talking about the staff or the litigants?
