How sad… my mom used to love this place I remember when I was a kid she used to rant and rave and spent hours here.. after visiting last week, I can say with confidence I’ll never ever go back… I walked in and the 2 girls working were too busy on their phones to look up or say hi when I greeted them…. Not a deal breaker at all but kinda rude… anyways, the plants looked so sad, everything was dying even the vincas were bone dry.. the 4 or 5 pathetic loofah starts they had looked so awful I verbally mentioned to a very kind young man an said wow these look very sad, loofah is so easy ! His response was “yeah”. The vegetable starts we’re all super uncared for, to be perfectly honest even if everything was free on that left side I still wouldn’t have bought anything. Sooo tryyying to find some light i Asked him “so what’s new what’s in that’s fun for summer ?!” And he said “we had large elephant food if you can find any of that”. Oh. Ummm. Ok? Thanks for the help??? Nonetheless, extremely disappointing. Most of our other nurseries here are full of life full of lush greenery no matter what season it is. In my opinion that is the sole job and purpose of a nursery is to cater to people to help them find plants that not only fit their lifestyle and their home but also fit with the seasons to have a productive growth rate and happy healthy plants! Other nurseries have a welcoming atmosphere extremely friendly staff and plenty to walk through and just feel at peace… not A&p. This place doesn’t care. There’s no life here, only drought and sadness.
