Made payment and received a bill in the mail not reflecting my payment. Called billing and they can’t find it. Called the office and they don’t show it even though it’s on my credit card statement. Spent 1/2 hour trying to get someone to find it without success and told I have to make the payment or show proof, and my statement isn’t enough proof I have to try and find a receipt. So their mess up has now cost me time and if I can’t find receipt it’ll cost me more money. Always keep your receipts so they don’t rip you off!

The doctors and staff are amazing here! I was treated with respect and understanding, and they explained everything to me.

This practice is FOREVER running late. Patients are expected to arrive -5 minutes prior to appointment times but the physicians are running an hour behind schedule. Every time. This is a systemic problem. MRIs are done and impossible to get a copy of the CD. No one even bothers calling you back.

On 4/20/21 I had an appt with Dr. Johnsen. I have seen him some years before and, even though he didn't put accurate notes in my chart, he did get me set up with custom orthotics that made a big difference. So, now, I need new orthotics and have been having severe toe pain on my right fourth toe. On 4/20/21, Dr. Johnsen did xrays and, after physical exam, said I have a Neuroma. He ordered a cortisone injection and said he would send over a referal for my new orthotics. His assistant, Charise, gave me the injection and said I should be hearing from the ortho dept soon. I waited over two weeks and no one called. I called on 5/7 and left a detailed message with the Orthotics dept - no return call. On 5/13, I called again and this time I spoke with the woman in charge of that dept. She said she never received the order from Dr. Johnsen. She looked in the chart and said he also failed to put a note in the chart. However, she said if my insurance is not paying, she doesn't an order from the Dr. She said she would check on my insurance to see if they covered any part and would get back to me. Again, NO CALL. On 5/18/21, I called again and left a detailed message with Stephanie (as Charise was unavailable) about everything that had been going on. Dr. Johnsen says 2 shots and then surgery if not better. However, sometimes proper orthotics and new shoes can help resolve this issue. I was told by Charise not to buy new shoes until I get my new orthotics. So....we are wasting time and I am not going to jump into surgery without doing this properly and giving the orthotics and new shoes a good try (along with the injections). Stephanie was very polite and sympathetic and said she would definitely pass this along to Charise. Again, NO CALL. On 5/19/21, I called again. This time I spoke with Samantha. I told her the entire story again and said I am getting sick of not getting the care I was promised. She was very sympathetic and agreed that this should not be happening. Unfortunately, both Charise and Victoria (head of orthotics) were gone for the day. She put in another detailed message and said she would follow up with both of them first thing in the morning. It is now 5/20/21 @ 2:00 pm and I have heard nothing (and will probably not hear anything). THIS IS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND BORDERLINE MALPRACTICE!. You do not treat patient's this way. I do see another doctor there who is wonderful and with whom I have had no issues. However, this is the second time Dr. Johnsen has not noted my file properly and has not done what was promised. I feel like he wants the treatments to fail so I will have surgery. Not gonna happen - at least not here. He didn't even give me some of the common things to do that I have found on other sites (like the Mayo clinic) to try to help with this issue to avoid surgery. I NEED NEW ORTHOTICS DESPERATELY! I have used the ones I have now for over 5 years and they are well past their life span. Unfortunately, I didn't have funds to replace them until just recently, so I thought I should deal with this along with finding out what was causing my intense toe pain. It has become very apparent that Dr. Johnsen and his staff could not care less about me as a patient. If this is not resolved immediately, I will be following up with a complaint to my Health Insurance Carrier and the State Medical Board. There is no excuse for this type of treatment.
