About a year ago, my husband & I took my parents to look at this community. The gentleman who helped us gave off an “uppity” vibe, as did just about everyone else we encountered. Pebble Creek is trying to be “exclusive.” We were all casually dressed, and I believe my parents were stereotyped as having no money and pegged as “not fitting in” based on the way they looked. No customer-service based business should ever be judging books by their covers! Needless to say, my parents found a great house to the north in Sun City West and are happy with it. Everything happens for a reason.

If you're old... this place is great. There's loads of activities, societies, and opportunities for socializing. My grandparents are in a bocce league, for instance. Again, you're surrounded by old people. There isn't much diversity, but alas. Time just moves slower here. People are friendly. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's wonderful.

As far as physical security, It's a gated community for automobile access, and passes are required 24 hour access, but it's not fenced off, and has two golf courses with public access as well. There is a security patrol. The community members are active, engaged, and welcoming. But the pricing is built on the amenities, gym, tennis, picle ball courts, art and other classes, and of course two golf courses. It's a great area, spent 5 days there last winter and lived it, hope my comments help.
The HOA per month is $214.33 however, the fee is paid semi annually.
There are no apartments, the Lock n Leave's are close as it gets.
