I originally found Dr. Khoshaba when I was on the hunt for a new practitioner who would treat my thyroid. Originally, I was seeing a another provider for this but ultimately was not satisfied with the care I was receiving. Thankfully, a Google search led me to Dr. K! I have been a patient of Dr. K's since June. I originally thought my thyroid was the root cause of my problems, but through Dr. K's thorough look into my labs, symptoms, complaints etc, we determined otherwise. I have been following Dr. K's recommendations and plan of care to a T and I have seen amazing results. In a little over a month, I have lost almost 20 pounds, have seen a dramatic improvement in my labs, as well as a big increase in my energy. I am so thankful for Dr. K and giving me the best care possible. I feel blessed to be a patient of hers!!

Dr. Laurena is an amazing doctor and person in general. I had seen multiple doctors and was frustrated with being told everything was "normal" for months. I do recommend Dr. Khoshaba to everyone who has problems with thyroid. Her aim the way she works is to solve the problem and no medication in future. She is perfectionist, hard working, checks every single detail until she is sure that a patient is 100% perfect. No we do not accept insurance at this time. However, we are happy to provide a superbill for you to submit to insurance on your own for reimbursement. You may be able to use your insurance for regular lab work and imaging, but it is recommended you check with your specific insurance provider. Check with your HSA provider to see if you are eligible to use this for your visits, specialty tests, regular lab work, imaging, etc.
Yes! Dr. Khoshaba loves collaborating with other health professionals to ensure you have the very best care team for you.
You can access your telemedicine appointment in 3 ways. The first way is to use the Zoom link that is emailed to you to join the video session at the time of your appointment. The second way is to login to your patient portal here, go to the “Appointments” tab, and then select “Check-In” beside the video icon on the right side of the appointment listing. The third way is to go to www.nesaz.com and click on the Telemed link located at the top right of the website.
At NES the focus is on optimizing your hormones. Patients see Dr. Khoshaba for help with integrative hormone therapy, comprehensive thyroid care, adrenal concerns, metabolic concerns, blood sugar regulation and cardiovascular concerns.
Dr. Khoshaba is currently accepting patients residing in Arizona. She is not currently taking new pediatric patients (under age 18).
