yesterday's tradgedy

‼️what missionaries won’t tell you!‼️ lifetime member, grew up in the church, family is multi-gen mormons to the core. this is a cult, please stay very far away. not christian, teaches more about joseph smith than Jesus Christ himself. the Bible is not important to this organization. in order to reach the highest order of heaven, you have to complete special rituals in a “temple”. marriage and kids is a requirement, as well as 10% of all of your income. they keep records on everyone who has ever been a part of the church, and anyone who has expressed interest in joining. uses brainwashing tactics on teens and young adults to keep them from leaving, has had detrimental effects on many young people’s mental and emotional health. not lgbtq+ friendly, largely conservative, women are put second and are considered worthless if unmarried. the church discourages counseling outside of their “bishop” counseling and approved church counseling centers. this organization meets many of the BITE model’s qualifications for a cult. would not recommend after a lifetime of attending this so called “church.”

It's a wonderful church and this particular stake center houses some of the best wards I know in this area. Mountain View doesnt even compare to the 5th ward or any I have personally been a part of.
