How long are records and hearing tests kept?

Hi Susan, By law medical records are kept at least 6 years after the last encounter. In the case of a minor it is 6 years after the 18th birthday. Now that things are shifting to electronic medical records it may be possible that records are kept for longer than the required 6 years. I would recommend calling and asking if they still have the records in question.
