My 79 year old mother was ready to move into assisted living, but she didn’t know it. She had been living on her own, taking care of her house, driving herself to all of her appointments… and I could tell it was getting to be too much for her (and me)! One day I convinced her to tour the Brookdale communities. I explained that I wanted her input now, so when the time comes, if she is unable to make a decision, we will have a plan. On our drive to Brookdale, my mother told me that she was not ready to leave her home and I assured her that she will move when she is ready. And then Wesley happened…Wesley noticed us pull up, and he came right out to our car and introduced himself. As we entered the facility, he introduced us to the staff and the residents that we encountered. Everyone was so happy and friendly. As Wesley was showing us around, I had an opportunity to say hello to a couple of the residents, and ask them how they liked living at Brookdale. All positive feedback. I could see the wheels spinning as my mother was taking it all in. Towards the end of our tour, we happened to pop into the dining room, and happy hour was taking place. There was music, dancing, appetizers and even a glass of beer! She was SOLD! We both were sold! Wesley has made our transition so much easier than I expected. My 94 year old mother went to Brookdale for 2 weeks - Respet Care - while we were on vacation. She loved it so much, it was hard to get her to leave! all the staff were helpful and caring. I would recommend this facility to all!

My mother-in-law recently decided that she wanted to move back to AZ, so we researched senior communities that might be a good fit for her. I was VERY impressed with the speedy responsiveness, thorough follow-up, and overall EXCELLENT customer service that I received from both Kevin Pugh and Wesley Wilkins! They went "above & beyond" as they answered our many questions, arranged video tours, and found an affordable apartment and level of care that would be just right for her. We were also impressed with the number of tenured employees at this community who are truly passionate about taking care of the residents' needs. I highly recommend this community.
