Wow. "Dirty South". Beautifully curated, so many perspectives. The ending film in the theater downstairs. Wow. When we were entering in, there was a white gentleman who was leaving and he asked if I had seen the exhibit before. When I said no, he looked in my eyes almost with tears and said "I'm so sorry". I did not understand until I completed the whole exhibit top and bottom..

How can I show my art in the museum .I've. Drawings and I want to put them there !!

Irene Gañán Gómez | Oct 28, 2018

I don't think the museum will take artwork from just anyone who wants to show their stuff. I assume they have a curator, like every other museum, who carefully selects the artists or the works that will be on display. However, if you feel like they could be interested on your art, you could contact the museum curator directly. They probably have contact info on their website.

There are loads of flat rate lots surrounding the area, as well as garages. I do not recommend street parking.

I went on a Saturday while google maps said it was open, but everything was locked. I didn't see any signs or notices as to why. Is the museum going through remolding? Or has it closed?

Yes. The only exceptions are if one is on loan. If that is the case then there will be an icon on the information plague indicating no photos are allowed. But this is mainly an issue with the special exhibits.
