We have attended Primrose School at Lakeshore for the past 5 years (and counting!). Despite the frequent management shuffle that IS a little concerning to us parents, we have had a positive experience there, and would recommend the school to other families. Our children have done very well, and seem to thrive academically and socially. The teachers are one of the best aspects of Primrose Lakeshore- several of the teachers go above and beyond and make us feel like family. Ms Charyah is certainly one of our favorite teachers there. We just love her! She is so kind, friendly, and so caring of our kids. She takes time to genuinely understand their individualized strengths and areas of improvement. Her outgoing & positive personality makes us feel welcome, and creates a positive learning environment for the children. Her enthusiasm is an incredible example that we want set at this young and impressionable age for our kids- it is so important to us that our kids love learning and education and we feel these are values that Ms Charyah holds and exemplifies at the sincerest levels. In short, we would recommend Primrose School at Lakeshore to other families, our only concern is the management turnover (which I understand is being addressed).

My daughter has been at this school for 6 months now and she loves it! Everyone is so welcoming and kind to her. I couldn’t have imagined a better first school experience for her.

We started my 3 year old son at Primrose about a month ago and can't speak more highly about the staff and teachers! I was very leery of switching school from a school he had been at for over 2 years! Ms Shelby, Mrs Melissa, Ms Cassandra have been EXTREMELY helpful in my sons transition to his new school! Their communication, energy, and genuine care for each of their students at the school DOES NOT go unnoticed! Thank you for everything you have done! We appreciate you!

Every child learns at their own pace because every child is unique. At Primrose schools, teachers use a variety of tools throughout the year to collaborate with families and monitor each child’s progress. This helps them understand each child’s individual needs and provide the personalized support that helps them excel.
We call our curriculum the Balanced Learning® approach. It is designed to inspire children to think with creativity, compassion and resourcefulness. Primrose school teachers not only guide children as they learn letters, numbers, science and more, but they also weave in character development and life skills opportunities throughout the day so children can develop social and relationship skills.
Yes, our school has a kindergarten program that utilizes our Primrose Balanced Learning® approach to help prepare children for success in Kindergarten, elementary school, and beyond. Small group lessons offer greater individual attention and our extended hours help support working parents with all-day care.
We require all teachers to be certified in first aid and CPR, in addition to ongoing health and safety training throughout the year. Teachers are also trained on common signs of illness with signage placed in each classroom. Learn more here: https://tinyurl.com/yakwfr8g
Teachers and students practice frequent handwashing throughout the day and adhere to a strict sick policy. Temperature checks, touch free check in, and limitations on visitors may also be implemented to minimize risk to all. Learn more here: https://tinyurl.com/y7gutztv
Items like high-touch toys, playground equipment, and other common surfaces are disinfected frequently throughout the day. Sheets and blankets from cribs are laundered daily; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and are laundered on a weekly basis. We require any students or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours.
