Horrible management team! No respect or accommodation for disabled and special needs people. They don't reply in a timely matter. Getting any questions answered is like putting teeth. Totally incompetent. They don't enforce no smoking rule at the pool and the rest of us have to suffer. There is nothing luxurious about living here! I don't recommend it at all!!!

Overall the place is OK, the management however makes false statements and charges fees for something they approved. For example, I specifically asked if I could mount a television on the wall and was told yes so long as I patched the holes. So when I moved out, I patched the holes as required and was charged $350 for drywall repair. Not to mention I moved out early so I am sure that they are getting double rent since I paid them over $4000 dollars for breaking the lease (which I am not mad about) but you would think that if they allowed the mounting they could at least cover the cost of the dry wall repairs which didn't actually need to be done. Also, When I moved in there were no doors on the cabinets or drawers for over a week which basically made the kitchen un-useable but I sure didn't get compensated for that either. Coating they put on the tub is a joke and chips off in a matter of months. The quality of mx is terrible, and they double charge for trash. $25 for valet trash and another $20ish for the city fee for trash. At no other apartment have I had to pay for trash twice. Also, there is very little parking, there are probably no more than 20 spaces in the entire complex for visitors, so having a few friends over is pretty difficult because they are going to be parking a long ways from your apartment.

The complex has updated most of the units and they are really nice. We live in the back and neve have any problems with noise. Its nice and quiet. The neighbors are nice and courteous of your privacy and not playing loud music or having parties. It's more a family atmosphere. My husband and I have enjoyed living here since they brought in new management. Chris Buck the assistant manager is awesome. He is on top of things. He has a great personality. If you need anything done or do happen to have a problem he gets right on it. Sasha the leasing agent is super sweet. I enjoy visiting with her. You can go in the office at anytime and if she is not showing an apartment she takes the time out to visit with you. She genuinely cares about the residents. She always has a smile on her face. The maintenance guys are the best! Soon as you put a ticket in for something to be fixed or changed out they are in your unit within hours. Javier has been there the longest. He is a very hard worker, kind and professional. With the new management and updates I would recommend Alys Apartments now. They have a great staff and its like living in a house instead of an apartment.
