Valuable asset for low income Veteran's to provide a HUD/VASH apartment. I lived there in 2014. Clean with all needed items provided such as furniture, heat, air conditioning, kitchen items, and appliances. Just bring your clothes and hygiene items and your home.

The Lincoln apartments for veterans on North Holmes avenue right off of Michigan Street West is designed for homeless and handicap veterans they're looking to get be on their own and having their own apartments is in a great accomplishment for any veteran that is handicapped that is homeless so when you get a chance stop by and pick up an application and get your name on the list I've been here for 7 years going on 8 and I haven't had a problem yet.

Been here since it opened 7 years ago. The building is nice but you can hear everything through the walls and ceilings. It has a lot of great potential but there is just way too many unenforced lease violations, good people have left and more are on their way out. Environment is becoming just too stressful for some of us. Rarely get a 48hr notice to enter apartment, likes to call last minute entries "emergencies" when to get around lack of planning. NOT an environment that you would feel comfortable having family visit (drunk residents in hallways/outside building). It is sad the place could be really great.

Only stayed 1 night but didn't seem bad. I would live there. :)
