No one ever picks up the phone and when they do the girl gives you attitude. They wanted me to pay 80 for my baby’s car seats and my personal documents that were in the car. Under the state law of texas they cannot charge you for your personal belongings. They make an excuse saying it’s storage fees and I bet they keep and sell your stuff. I am still worried they’re going to try to steal my identity and always have a look out my credit report. Don’t do business with them. I was about to sue but found that it will just waste my time and energy as I just wanted to move past this experience. Don’t ever want nothing to do with them ever again. When we finally recovered our car it had some damages. The excuse we got was that we shouldn’t have had our car towed in the first place.

This company has no customer Service skills and they make a bad situation worse by being rude and disrespectful. Shouldn't have to make an appointment to get belongings out of your own car. But for the owner to be on here being rude in the responses to the reviews shows why the employees are allowed to be rude.

Crooked fooks. Seen 1st hand the robbery these guys are. Nothing nice or cooperative about them. Based on the reply,..they make a living on the misfortune of others

Truly just monsters. I had medicine in my car that can’t reach a certain degree and the lady told me to call 911. They claim to not have any appointments to get your vehicle because they are trying to get their daily fees. I have doctors appointments and they are refusing to let me get my vehicle. They also lied about not receiving my release documents. The third party had to call for me in order for me to get my car. This company is spineless and corrupt.

So they can hold your vehicle longer and charge you additional storage fees in hopes you won't be able to get your vehicle at all.
I do not see a question. I will respond to what I am reading above. I think some businesses just get a bad rap. I have never been towed by mistake. This is my third response on the Hide and Seek Recovery. In contrast to the seemingly bad experience the gentleman in the post above, my experience with Hide and Seek Recovery was positive. The schedule to get your car back or get your Belongings was web page was easy to use. I even got a reminder text. My phone contacts with Hide and Seek customer service were professional, informative sympathetic and even empathetic. I feel H and S Recovery knows they have to work harder to get and keep contracts due to the nature of the business. Someone has to do it. H and S Recovery simply towed my car by contract request. It was my fault. They made the experience as painless as possible for me. I am not mad at Hide and Seek Recovery. I am responsible for my stuff when I mess up. Somebody is going to clean up. H and S Recovery did that with style.

A few ways to do this you can contact lien holder and pay the amount owed or you can setup a time to come and pick up your belongings. The unit needs to be removed by the company that installed it.
You can call the number on their website and ask. If you need them to tow your car, it will all depend on how far it will go because most towing companies have a "per mile" rate.
Mr Escobar we are greatly sorry that you are going thru a tough time. We handle over 1600 vehicles a month and try to accommodate all customers. We have to make appointments due to the volume so that when you do come to the location to redeem that you do not wait for hours. The phone calls are about 1200 a day so sometimes the wait on a call is longer then expected so we do apologize about the wait.
I think they just want more time to go through your belongings so they can steal! I want every napkin and gum wrapper from my vehicle. Its principal. My things are my things. Take the damn car but give me my stuff. They are holding my childs things unless it was a carseat and my medication( i had freaking surgery last night) im not making two trips to get my stuff. That's insane. And the fact they took it in the middle of the night is crazy. Come knock on the door get the keys and do the right thing. The last tow two guy at least gave me that respect. I know im already embarrassed for not being able to keep my vehicle in the first place. Having a roof over my kids heads was more important. But sheesh. If you dont want a bad rap then treat people with common courtesy... let me have some dignity.
