We brought my 2 year old son here when he fell and got a gash on his chin. The doctor and nurses were fantastic, but we waited almost 2 1/2 hours to be seen. Clearly the staff is doing their best and trying to deal with staffing shortages. Besides the delay, they did an amazing job treating my very feisty kid.

While the nurse and doctor were great, the front desk staff is terrible. When we walked in, we were told to sign in from a staff member of the specialty section of the clinic (not urgent care staff because they were not at their station). We signed our name and phone number and we’re told to wait outside and that we wouldn’t see a doctor for an hour. After patiently waited the hour, I called for an update and was told I’d been called twice. While the supervisor confirmed that they called me from the landline, no voicemail was left, and no attempt besides two phone calls that went straight to voicemail (where no message was left by staff) was made. I waited with my sick child in a car for over an hour for no reason. A simple policy change of voicemail, listing license plates, any backup attempt would be appreciated. It’s unfortunate that the doctors and nurses working here have to deal with poor policies that prevent seeing happy patients in a timely manner.

My husband and I took our grandson's to Chalfont Urgent Care on Saturday afternoon. The baby woke from his nap with goopy eyes and my other grandson had a terrible cough. My daughter and son in law were away for the weekend so we knew that we needed to have them seen. Everyone at the UC was wonderful. The secretary who checked us in was extremely pleasant, the nurse was so patient, she talked to my older grandson who was very anxious and allowed him to calm down, she did not rush him. The doctor took time to explain everything to us and even suggested that I call my daughter so that she could talk to her and alleviate her guilt because she was not home with her sick babies. The wait was long but the care was amazing. I am sure that no one likes to wait especially with young children but the care that we received FAR exceeded whatever slight inconvenience we experienced with the wait. Dr. Marian Mass was the pediatrician and I wish I had taken notice of the nurse and secretary's name because they are all worth mentioning. They all embody CHOP's mission and I thank everyone for their dedication.

I haven’t even been seen yet, but the two chicks at the front desk are extremely rude. When you come in, you’re expected to automatically know that you have to sign in on a clipboard. Prepare for some attitude and lack of eye contact. My daughter is very sick and needs to be seen, but I was banished to my car to wait.

Yes! After your child is seen a report is faxed to their pediatrician letting them know they were seen in Urgent Care
Is it still stuck there?
