This place is amazing! It’s clean, secure and has every amenity you could ask for. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. All this and there’s no charge! I am so appreciative that this place is available for the families of vets.

Now this place is AWESOME for veterans and there families when they're traveling it's cheap $11 for veterans and so beautiful inside especially the wall art is impeccable!!

I think the patients doctor has to request it. It also depends on how far away you live.
Its 3 min. Right outstand the S.C.I. Clinic. If your like me and use a Motorized Chair you can do it in 2 min. Its on the same campus as the VA Hospital. Its a Great Set Up. The Marriott has Nothing on this place.
Our son was in the V.A. and he asked his Dr. about it. They set it up and then someone will call you from Fisher House.

There is a community freezer with frozen breakfast items that can be microwaved. Usually plenty of cookies snacks are available to everyone and plenty of coffee and drinks. Stove, oven and microwaves are available for everyone to use. Absolutely no food or drink in the rooms with the exception of bottled water. Very nice and comfortable.
They don't close.... They have staff 24/7 there.... If you have a veteran in the hospital the nurses will let you know what to do to get in....
