This is an awesome campground! Loved that there are no seasonal campers here! Campsites have trees that offer privacy from your neighbor. Your not piled one on top of each other like other campgrounds. Sites have electric and access to water supply. There is a dump station. Lots of hiking trails! You can hike right to the lake. Dog friendly, playground for the kiddos. Bathrooms need a little TLC, but they are functional. Ryan in the park office was great! Our friends had squatters on their reserved site and Ryan handled the situation immediately. We'll definitely be back!

We have stayed at Webster county grounds for many years as it is the closest to Rochester. As the years pass the bathroom and showers have become in poor condition and in need of repairs and a good cleaning. It appears the shower is not draining properly as soapy water is backed up in a puddle on the outside. Does Monroe County do its own health inspection? 🤔 also new pictures of the sites are needed as the site was filled with large trees and were not on the picture when I reserved the site. Iman out of county resident so we paid $150 for 3 nights, kind of high for a dirty bathroom and shower. One positive is they have put in grills on the campsites.

I am giving 2 stars just because of bathrooms and the garbage in front of bathroom, the smell was so bad they could do better job with upgrating and cleaning the bathrooms and moving trash to somewhere eles. But the campground was so good and clean the view and the Beach near the campground was so clean.
