I have to do the bad review on here since their is no Wic store online even though ITS RIGHT NEXT TO THIS WIC OFFICE. I went to the Wic store 9/20/2022 around 4PM, and let me tell you - I thought WIC was supposed to help women. I did not feel welcomed I just felt like a burden. It was my first time going to the store since I just got my card but I would rather drive to a different Wic store OR even try but struggle to go to a regular store then go to this Wic on watauga again. I asked for gallon of whole milk, she handed me 2 Skim milks. I said oh no I’m sorry I said whole, she said”no” I was shocked stayed silence for a while and then said why not?, she said “you’re benefits only give you skim milk until your child turns 1” WELL SAY THAT INSTEAD OF SAYING NO. THAT I UNDERSTAND. But every little question I asked she rolled her eyes and huffed and puffed. So ugly

I have been oh hold for 45 minutes and I was next in line and all of a sudden i got booted to caller 32?? I have called multiple times The past few days and can never get through. My son is almost out of his formula and due to a medical condition each can is $30 for a 12 oz can and I can’t afford that being a single parent with no support. I don’t normally have these issues with WIC but the past few days have been horrible. Again. I went from caller number 32 to next caller to caller number 47!!! on the phone with them on hold for an hour and 30 minutes, just to be kicked out twice for no reason. No one answered the phone and I wasn’t given a reason I was kicked back twice.
