First time in Dallas and was overwhelmed with the variety of apartments. Definitely content with my pick of West Mockingbird. CJ the leasing agent was excellent in the service provided. Living here for a month and no issues so far.

Update: since changing from Greystar to Bell Partners this place has lost its charm. A lot of it has to do with residents being absolutely gross and throwing trash everywhere and mistreating amenities. However, theres poor management communication. I’ve never lived somewhere where there are building renovations that affect resident living with no forewarning from management. Also, they send resident messages for broken amenities a week after there’s been an issue. The property becomes unsightly with very minimal cleaning done. The landscapers come weekly but you would never be able to tell with the frustrating overgrowth and the poor conditions of the surrounding property. I had a door replaced that needed to painted and was told it would take two weeks for “paint” to come in four months later and there was no follow up. I called the office and a service member came and applied one coat and said he would be back. That’s been a month. In addition, I’ve requested pest control like 5 times and have yet to have a visit. I keep adding my name but nothing comes of it. Never mind the package situation. They’re thrown about and are constantly stolen. I find it interesting however, that the same company manages (also same property manager) West Love but their property is better taken care of which is so unfortunate. This place has the potential to be amazing but with the mediocre management I just don’t think it will ever improve. (2020)We moved into our place in December and we love this place!! The team is always responsive and they go above and beyond. Love having a yard for my fur babies to run around in!

This place does not see its residents as people, but only as numbers. It's certainly not worth the cost of rent. I've had constant issues with the staff since I moved in and nothing is ever dealt with appropriately. They're extremely unprofessional and rely on 3rd parties to handle their residents so they don't have to. Then, when you have an issue with those 3rd parties, it's not their fault, they have nothing to do with it, and no, they won't reimburse you the cost that their own failures have produced. I've been pretty miserable the whole year I've lived here and cannot wait to move out.

The general manager, Jenna Overton, was very accommodating and helpful throughout the time I lived here. They ran out of garage RFIDs the day I moved in and she gave me a vendors RFID to make sure I had access to park and did not have a terrible move-in experience. She's always had a positive attitude and solution-oriented mindset whenever I had any problems.
