Great quality bread with fantastic dense, meaty texture. As someone with a peanut and tree nut allergy, I also appreciate that they don’t contaminate the production line with nuts so I am able to enjoy their products. Their sourdough is my favorite.

If you come here for delivery,make sure your landing gear properly up ,old trailer who have low landings gear you be stuck here soo badly .

Al Cohen's Bakery was purchased by a triumvirate who seem to want to "save" money by cheapening the rye breads. The removal of the inner wrapper is the first step, changing the bread recipe seems to be another cost cutting move. Flavor and freshness are of little concern when after the almighty buck

why did you do away with inside wrapper on n.y.open rye? i have noticed in the last several months there is more large air holes

The Broadway location does not make rye bread only frozen products. You would need to contact the NYC plant
