One of the of the many beautiful nature areas of Fort Collins. Lovely views all around. Well maintained path; however, be mindful that winter hiking does involve snow melt, and mud (that's a given). A very easy walk as it's level. A perfect place to have a good walk with a friend.

It is nice to walk on the North side of the river with no bicycles whizzing by. Woodsy with lots of hawks and other birds of prey hunting in the ponds. A few benches are welcome spots to rest and drink some water. Usually only a few people on the trail

Very lovely, not much people traffic so you can actually enjoy your walk. I bring my dog here who is not very dog or people friendly and we usually don't encounter anyone on the trail, so it's very nice.
