We had some minor mold issues and Jessie responded immediately to help us get the remediation process started and was an invaluable help as we worked through that process to make our house ready for sale. We would recommend Jessie and ServPro highly for anyone needing this service.

The Servpro Team we had was great! Kevin, however, was a shining, sweaty STAR! Triple digit heatwave and he was a dynamo!!!

Servpro of Plano is fantastic with customer service and consumer education. I'm an insurance agent and MANY of my clients have turned to them for help after a water leak situation in their home or condo. Keep up the great work!

Questions & Answers

Does my insurance cover water damage or water cleanup?

SERVPRO of Central and West Plano | Sep 27, 2022
SERVPRO of Central and West Plano | Sep 27, 2022

Your home may be covered by your insurance, depending on your specific policy. We can work with your insurance provider for a “stress free” claims process and confirm what is and is not covered by your current policy.

Can I turn off the equipment at night?

SERVPRO of Central and West Plano | Sep 27, 2022
SERVPRO of Central and West Plano | Sep 27, 2022

No, it is important the equipment is running around the clock. The more hours per day the equipment runs – the less days the equipment will be in your property. The equipment is strategically placed to encourage optimal drying. Turning off the equipment will only increase our dry time, and the threat of microbial growth and secondary damage.

How long does it take to dry my home or business?

SERVPRO of Central and West Plano | Sep 27, 2022
SERVPRO of Central and West Plano | Sep 27, 2022

The only answer is: It depends on the size and scope of the loss. Completely drying a structure depends on the type of water damage, how long the water dwelled, and the type of building materials involved. Many times, water damage to your home or business takes 2 to 3 days to dry. However, properties exposed to water damage for a long time will take longer to dry, so it is best to start as soon as possible!
