Same happened with our I-130 the counselor sended my moms case back to USCIS but gave us kids the visa
I hope you have a good lawyer? Not all lawyers are """ Immigrantion Lawyers """... A Lawyer does not necessarily know how to complete the Form I-130. It's very detailed. 1. Ask your lawyer for a copy of the Fee Receipt Notice. Everytime you pay to the U.S. Immigration, You get a generated Form I-797 in the mail. This receipt number will give you an exact date of when your application//petition was filed. 2. Ask your lawyer if He or She received anything from the U.S. Immigratoin Asking for more Evidence OR Proof of the Marriage! THIS LET'S YOUR LAWYER KNOW, THAT YOU'RE NOT STUPID... 3. Ask your lawyer to review the Immigration Case File - HE OR SHE CREATED... NOTE: Review it closely from any documents sent to the lawyer from the U.S. Immigration Service. IF YOU SEE A FORM I-797 AND IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER IT STATES: REJECTION NOTICE -THAT MEANS THE FORM WAS INCORRECTLY FILED. REQUEST FOR EVIDENCE - THAT MEANS YOUR LAWYER DID NOT SEND THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS... Billy
Sir, you have to call the USCIS Hotline... Google for the number: You should have a Form I-797 Receipt Form// I-797 Approval Noice. The Number in the top right corner: TSC-___ USCIS will confirm if the card was mailed and to what address.... It's very important to keep USCIS informed of address changes. *If they made an error, they replace for free... **If your fault, YOU MUST APPLY AGAIN, BUT INCLUDE THE PREVIOUS I-797... IT WILL SPEED UP TO THE PROCESS.. P.S. RETIRED FEDERAL SERVICE
I have the same problem for I-130 it is taking very long
@Cherie Smith USCIS is currently heavily backed up. My case (I 130) was reported received on September 2019 and I just received my approval letter. So you can imagine depending on your case type and immigration status how long it may take for the next step. Just be patient and check the process time on their website.
Hello, someone help you I have the same case right now I never received or acknowledgment of receipt? Do you have any advice
I think they are all about the person shuffling the paperwork deciding. I have heard some people have bad attitudes doing their job and others are far about being bias and no a good job. That is not right but it is being human. I am waiting and I will not give up no matter how many times it takes to get the right person to bring my family together again. Pray the best for everyone doing it the legal way.
Yes, this is normal. There are always backlogs and cases are adjudicated in the order in which they are received.
Certain Service Centers process certain petitions and/or applications, it's not relative to locations.
I'm not sure! You will be met by security, and they will be able to answer any questions you might have
Texas Service Center isn't open to members of the public. The USCIS Dallas Field Office is where you want to go. Make an appointment via Infopass online.
Do you received any response? I am in the same situation right now.
Email a request for the original document back as it should be in the file kept in USCIS records. The embassy is run by the Dept of State and the two organizations don't always talk to each other.
