I recently had to put my 8 y/o Guinea pig down, and the vets here made the process a lot easier to handle. She was my very last Guinea pig of my 4 that I had, so this wasn’t my first time experiencing losing a piggy. However, unlike every other place they allowed me to hold her the entire time when they were putting her to sleep. In past experiences they wouldn’t even allow me to see my piggies when they were putting them to sleep and it always made me so scared to think what my poor babies were going through when I wasn’t there in their final moments so for a vet to allow me to actually stay and hold my very last baby was something I will never forget and will always be thankful for. Thank you so much for allowing me to say goodbye to my baby and hold her all the way till the end. The kindness and patience I received was unlike any other. Thank you so much. I’m not religious, but if I were, I’d truly believe each and everyone of you were angels in disguise. Thank you.
