We moved to Pocahontas 3 years ago and we have been driving an hour to Spencer every time we want some good Mexican food because Monterrey is the best we’ve found, and we’ve tried many! We will continue to make the drive because their food and service is worth it! Never once had a bad experience!

We're picky eaters, but we enjoyed our visit here. The food was good, the service was fast, but left a little to be desired. Ordered a simple dish that had an option of tortillas to come with it and I mentioned I would like the tortillas. It was brought to me without, but the waiter kindly asked if I wanted them and I said yes, then still never received them. I stated it as clearly as possible, but it wasn't a deal breaker for me anyways. Atmosphere left a little to be desired as well. If you just want quick service and a good meal then this place is just fine. If you enjoy a great experience to go along with the meal then you might be better off elsewhere. Very small drawbacks for what seems to be an otherwise well-run establishment.

I celebrated my birthday yesterday at Monterrey's and it was a great experience!! They gifted me a Happy birthday song and sombrero hat!! It was Awesome!! My family and I enjoyed the great food and services!! (Jose our waiter was excellent with the customer service!!)😀
