Less than impressed. My family and I booked a hotel in Luverne knowing the area as we are coming back from a LONG trip across the country. We drove 10+ hours today. When asked what everyone wanted to eat, we agreed on pizza. We had been to the Pizza Ranch several years ago and had no issues. Tonight we googled the hours which stated they closed at 9:30pm. We walked in at 8:31pm to find multiple staff members standing there looking at us like we were from another planet. After they all looked at what seemed to be the manager who told us “ they close the buffet down at 8:30, but we could still order.” There was still food on the buffet however there was nobody actively cleaning anything, and there was AT LEAST 5 staff members there. It was VERY clear that we were NOT welcome and it was more important to close early so that staff could go home. We went to find somewhere else to get food after a long 10 hour day of driving, and thank goodness we did!

Was there on a Monday night at 6:30. Felt like the selection was very slim with the pizza choices and salad bar. Other pizza ranches have a much larger variety. Food was good, staff friendly.

There was a whole bunch of workers in the kitchen working half-a** and the food tables seemed pretty empty and were lacking a lot of my favorite foods. I know this was just a Sunday but today has changed my perspective on the whole restaurant company itself. I came back up multiple times and seen the tables seemed to never get any fuller.

Updated 2/26/22 Their prices have increased big time. I really hope that with this price increase that their employees have also had a comparable pay increase. Called at 8:40 p.m. to order food. They close at 9. They wouldn't take my order, because they were closing early. If business hours are x time to x time then I should be able to call 20 min. before closing and get some food. Cleaning of ovens and closing should take place after the posted closing time. In this case 9 p.m., not sooner.
