Arrived at 11:15 as instructed for 11:45 CT scan. 12: 15 and I was only one in waiting room. 12:30 and still no go. Asked front desk what is taking so long about 12:15 so called tech and they said they were having trouble. Courtesy would have been to come out and give me update. They opened that door calling other people and saw me sitting there all that time. Left at 12:30–will not use again. I felt humiliated.

Touchstone Burleson does not have a 3T. They have a 1.5T Wide Bore. However, we do have a 3T at our location in Fort Worth on Rosedale.

Although we may not offer a true "Open" MRI unit, we do offer a "Wide Bore" MRI that offers a larger gantry (donut hole), with a weight limit of 500lbs to accommodate larger, more claustrophobic patients while still providing high quality images. Yes. Contrast can be used if you have metal in your body.
Good morning. We have a standard 1.5T HF Wide Bore MRI. The tube is one that you lay flat inside of. This MRI ensures high quality pictures for the radiologists and your physician to make the best decisions for your treatment, and the tube is larger than a typical MRI to reduce claustrophobia. If you have additional questions, please call the facility and one of our team members will assist you.
They will draw blood to check your kidney function if required for your test.
