I followed Google map to the T and couldn't find it. Circled around and tried again and still couldn't find it. Was disappointed, but had to move on.

This was really good. I thought I knew about Les Paul. No I didn’t, but I do now. There was also an excellent exhibit telling the story of the county in 100 objects. All this is in a historical courthouse annex that was built as a government relief project during the Great Depression. Parked on the street next to the building.

Questions & Answers

Is the museum appropriate for a 12 year old?

Definitely. My grandmother & I took my daughter when she was around 8. I won't say she loved everything (attention span) but its a great experience.

Does anyone remember a rootbeer stand on White Rock in the 60s? If so any pics? What was it called?

It was called Ann's root beer stand. It was right across the street from the ballpark. It was somewhere where Hopson oil company is. I used to go there after going to summer school at Hadfield school in the 60's. Sorry, I don't have any pictures.
