Such an interesting take on a museum. Every season changes, it's always engaging for any demographic. I've been coming here since I was a child and even into adulthood, it's always a different and fun experience.

The grounds are not open to the public during school programs so the driver would need to be included on the list of adult staff approved by the school. Please call us at (262) 594-6301 should you have additional questions.
There are benches around. Also there are trams that you can ride between the different areas.
Hi Denise. Old World Wisconsin is open during the first two weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, in October from 10 until 5 pm. We are also open for our Halloween Legends and Lore event on the Friday and Saturday evenings of October 18-19 and 25-26.
Agreed I think you could have busloads. But it might overwhelm the interior trolly system so you might need to walk it. I would call ahead for groups bigger than a single classroom.
Less than $20 per adult, children were free when we went. Once inside everything is free like the shuttles and exhibits. Only cost is for food/drink or souvenirs.
Yes. We packed a lunch. There is several areas with picnic tables.
No lots of outside
$17 for 2 people. Plus spending money in gift shop; $10 to $15 for lunch per person.
Hi Peggy. The Ramsey Barn Grill Station is open from 11 to 2:30. There is an adjacent covered area with tables as well as picnic tables located elsewhere. The menu features grilled burgers and Usinger's brats and hot dog lunches that include a choice of chips or pasta salad, pickle and drink. We offer plant-based options for the burger and brat. Hope this helps!
Hi Esther. We will open for a drive-thru experience Memorial Day Weekend and for public tours and self exploration beginning in mid-June. Additional details can be found at oldworldwisconsin.org.

Hi Marianna. The former Halloween Dinner Theater experience evolved into our existing Halloween Legends and Lore event which will take place next Friday and Saturday evenings and the following Friday and Saturday. Legends and Lore utilizes the entire village as a series of stages on which a variety of Halloween stories can be brought to life and for a larger number of guests. We are currently considering the possibility of a Halloween-themed dinner returning in the future.
We are open weekends through October 13.
Hi David. Tram service is included with the weekend general admission ticket or as part of guided tours like our "Beast and Barns" experience offered Mondays-Thursdays through the end of August or "Wisconsin Journey" offered in September and early October on select weekdays and Sundays. Additional information can be found at oldworldwisconsin.org.

Reasonable, between $10 and $15.
I suggest reviewing their website and calling them to ask them about group visits.
We are open today until 5pm.
Hi Jerry. Wisconsin Historical Society members and active members of the military and their immediate families receive free admission. Dads get in free this Sunday for Fathers Day. Otherwise, admission is $19 for adults (18+) and $10 for children (5-17). Children under 5 are free.
Hi Elaine. We offer complimentary use of wheelchairs. They are available on a first-come basis.
Adults (18-64):$19 Children (5-17, children under 5 are free):$10 Seniors (65 & older): $16 Wisconsin Historical Society Members: FREE
Opening day is May 5th this year.
They are reopening in May. I don't believe they have any free days; but I'm not 100% sure about that.
It depends. If you have 4 or more people, buy the Wisconsin Historical Society annual pass. You'll better than break even on your second visit. Plan to visit more than once. It's a good, inexpensive place for family outings. The WHS pass also comes with 4 guest day passes. Nice to have when company is in town. The WHS pass also gets you into 8 other sites.
It is closed from November 1 through April 30.
Official policy: While no pets are allowed on the museum grounds, service animals are permitted for persons with disabilities in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
