The woman that was working the front desk seemed to be irritated that I was there. I found the experience to be off putting and some what demeaning.I"m sure that if you're a teacher or registered group your treatment would have been different. The old capital is beautiful. If nothing else go for that reason alone.

The museum itself is free, but there are no real good free parking options immediately around the capitol. The Museum of Florida History will give you a token to get out of their garage for free if you pay them a visit as well and it's about a 5 minute walk away from their garage to the Capitol!
