We usually come here for the views. The water seems too dirty to swim in and it's crowded a bit much to do anything. It's great for a long stroll and nice to find a place to eat.

Love the town - shops, restaurants and the lake are all wonderful. The parking, on the other hand is dreadful…. And beware - the local police department is quite quick and handy to pass out parking tickets. There are plenty of quaint small towns in Wisconsin that share all of the uniqueness of Lake Geneva with much better parking 😉

What I know they have the lake cruises that you can purchase tickets for and I think I have seen rental stations for kayaks. I wish I could be more helpful

Hello, We would like to visit Lake Geneva again in mid to late October (for the color, of course). We'd like a hotel room with a high balcony with a good view of the lake. Close to downtown, or at least with cabs or courtesy cars. Ideas?

You could try going to any one of the hotels by the lake near the visitor's center.
