I grew up in this church. From infancy until 20 years old I was taught everything from your husband is your master to the pastor is essentially God. I had to watch as my family was gossiped about and dragged through the mud because they respectfully disagreed with the extremely unethical things being done by pastor Robb Thompson. We left the church and every friend we ever had there for last 20 years had completely cut us off. Which just goes to show how unbiblical and unchristlike the community within the church really is. This church is wildly toxic. Somehow the new pastor is even worse than the old pastor which is astounding. I am now 28 and I have spent the last 8 years weeding out all of the toxic twisted teaching I grew up being told. The last 8 years I have been studying the Bible learning what God was actually saying (versus the twisted way I was taught by Robb Thompson) and it continues to blow my mind how many scriptures were twisted or straight up omitted. All of the positive reviews make me incredibly sad. I used to be one of those people. When you’re in the thick of it it’s extremely difficult to see the toxicity. Especially because you are taught to NEVER question your pastor. You’re so deceived that you will fight anyone and talk horribly about anyone who dares question or say anything against the pastor/Gods chosen man. Just thinking about that environment is making me sick. This church is dangerous. Run as far away as you can.

New pastor, let's see if the new pastor will admit the issues of the last one. And of he lives a Holy life. Who doesn't love money and invite Joel Osteen in. Who hopefully encourages people to exercise discernment and judge what they see and hear. Don't be a wolf in sheep's clothing. Please. The world needs more genuine pastors. Few are called to the position they are in. And many don't care about much more than their title or position. Or they want to please people. I sure hope FHC does a 180 here. But I don't expect it. Let's see what you've got! Blessings

Is sad to hear that I pass for that road everyday and I see this church, I will take it in consideration
There sure is! Childcare begins at nursery age and goes up to high school! We got you covered. (The high schoolers only meet at the evening services though).
Tonight at 7:15pm and Sunday night at 5pm could be considered Bible studies. Other services are Sunday at 9:30am and Saturday at 5pm. Childcare is provided at all of them. We look forward to having you!!
Yes. The Trunk or Treat and the chili cookoff is still happening today.
Yes, the fastest route will include paying tolls (on interstate 294). The churches entire auditorium is really a ga section. We have two center sections, and two side sections (1 left, 1 right). While I serve in Media there, my family and I attended a Steven C. Chapman, and Mac Powell concert at FHC and we sat in one of the middle aisles (about halfway from the front) and we enjoyed the event.
Sunday there are two services Sunday morning-9:30am Sunday Evening-5pm Wednesday Eve- 7:15pm
Family Harvest Church is a wonderful place to come and worship, fellowship, gather together for being great people and live the Christian life!
When my family joined, there were 3 short classes. I believe classes have since been condensed to one. Some topics included the fundamental philosophy as well as discovering your spiritual gifts. If you visit the church then tell someone at the guest welcome center of your intention to officially join. They can tell you specifically when class is.
