Brand-New Nails & Alterations

As a first time client of this establishment I was pleased to be able to get an appointment for a manicure and pedicure within a day’s notice. Parking is in back of the building so you enter from the back to walk down a hallway way onto the busy salon floor. After an awkward moment I was greeted, seated and invited to “Pick a color.” of which I did in short order. Tom then appeared, introducing himself and a showed me to the pedicure area to get me settled in to a high backed massage chair with all the bells and whistles a girl could dream of. We made the usual getting to know you information exchanges. My hearing isn’t the greatest and he was wearing a face mask so that’s double indemnity as it muffles the voice plus I can’t lip read through those things neither. So we settled into a comfortable silence. Tom is organized, attentive to detail with a warm sense of humor. He shaped the nails nicely, smoothed out the ridges and got rid of the rough heels, following with an excellent massage. The polish color I chose was soft, springy then professionally applied looking neat, clean and leaving me feeling delightfully girly again. For my manicure I was just seeking a basic clean up of cuticles and skin around the nails and smooth out the ridges as my nails are short at the moment - no polish. Now they look healthy and clean and the hand massage left me heavy lidded and nodding out. For me, the best part of a mani/pedi is the massage so I booked my next appointment before I left; giving me a new reason to live for the next six weeks. lol Thanks Tom.

HORRIBLE experience! I brought my 14 year old sister to get her nails done for her birthday. The guy cut her skin with the nail filer & glued her nails to her nailbed. They were all very rude about it & they did not take it serious at all. The guy said she was “fine” & did nothing about it. It took a week for the skin around her nails to heal. I also got my nails done. They were very thick & uneven. The polish job was also bad. Would NOT recommend.

Nancy and Ian are great. They are fun to talk with. Ian can always brighten up anyone's day with his humor. Most importantly they will do everything they can to get you in when you need to because of your busy schedule
