All of the elders/pastors live in my neighborhood. They are a cult! They keep buying up houses and have multiple unrelated families living in them. The have no respect for any of their neighbors as they do whatever they want as far as parking, letting their kids run into the streets unattended and have large worship sessions during the week. I would stay as far away from this group they have Waco written all over them

Grateful for this steady church in my life to have called home over the past few years! Thankful for a body of believers passionate about glorifying the Lord and seeking the kingdom.

Cultish definitely! Didn't like the vibes I was getting from this place. If you are a true Christian you will know what I mean if you step foot into this place. Something is off!

I went to the arising church for about 5 years and thought it would be my forever home until I left. I never really knew I was in a cult until I got out & saw the controlling aspect of young peoples lives. I’ve seen how hurt people were who had left & how they’ve changed because the church didn’t unconditionally love them or accept whatever life looked like for them but instead trying to tell them what to do. Arising was a place I found growth in my own walk & it did show me amazing things but for me to be there for 5 years thinking the connections were real to no one contacting me or my family after going there for 5 years really damaged me. I was the one reaching out to the people I missed. Ever since I left, one thing I noticed in my own life when attending the arising church was pride & dependency now leaving I see a lot of that in the church. People might not like what I have to say but this is me being real… To the ones who have been hurt by the church….Do not let it stop you from following God. Do not lose hope.

Hi Christina! We have an interpreter student who is available to interpret.
1. They claim nondenominational. Their doctrine is comprised from a mix mostly of Assembly of God, Evangelical, Hebrew Roots and Talmudic Judaism. 2. They are overall tolerant toward visitors. If you become a member, however, there is strong social/peer pressure to conform to many non-foundational and interpretation related issues including many you mentioned.
As of mid 2020, they do not have Celebrate Recovery meetings.
