Been sitting at the emergency room since 3. It's 7 now. There is no sense of urgency unless you're the delivery guy.

Anyone else ever have an issue with st Mary’s? Wether it be mental health unit or other? Would love to hear your stories, and i will share my experience. I went to get my medical records, because I believe what they had done to me a year ago was not right at all,and like I thought was going to happen ;they lied about almost everything that happened about a year ago when I stepped into that place Voluntarily. Has anyone actually saw with their own eyes how they treat their patients there? I’m not even talking about myself at this point. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. I’ll never go there for any help ever again for anything. I can’t speak for all of the employees there, because there are a couple genuine sweet ones out there, but overall like I’ve said before , and right before they decided to change my “voluntarily” visit {I walked in there for help} to a “involuntary” stay last year I had said to them ——->>>>> “You all need to be fired and rehired, because you don’t care about the people, You only care about your pay checks”. , and I stand by that. All because I spoke up and told them how I felt that placed me in there on an involuntary stay. I was diagnosed after I left that place with “mild anxiety” and “mild depression” due to the circumstances at that point in my life by my therapist. I’ll say it over and over again now that they aren’t controlling wether I have to stay there or not. This happened a year ago. I was mistreated. I will never ever go there again for anything! This was the first time I had EVER went there for something like this and I voluntarily went there for help.

If I could give a 0 I would! I came in for horrible stomach pains (which have been ongoing for MONTHS with no results). They put me in a literal closet with no medical supplies but a bed, table and chair. Proceeded to tell me it was nothing, after I described the pain was a 10/10 and sent me home to continue on with my pain. Went somewhere else and got told my appendix ruptured! I felt so judged and he left the door open to talk loudly about if I was pregnant, drinking, etc. He also got involved into as why I was in Amsterdam if I didn’t live there, like it was really any of Christopher Miereks business. Don’t waste your time and go somewhere where the doctors are knowledgeable.

I understand that all emergency rooms are a triage situation and that patients are seen based on urgency but my experience with St. Mary's ER was the worst I've ever had. I came in with someone needing/asking for help and was met with disdain and contempt by the Dr in the ER. The main nurse assigned to him was attentive but the rest of the staff treated us like we were trash. Instead of help he was sedated and after 12 hours released with no information regarding any of his issues or prescriptions that we were told would be written for the health issues he was presenting.
