Kudos to the county for one of the best campgrounds I’ve seen anywhere. The sites in the outer loop are nicely spaced, with some vegetation screening, and plenty of wildlife. Lots of desert birds, rabbits hopping around, and sounds of great horned owls at night. Impeccably clean bathrooms, neatly maintained sites (they even rake the site gravel between users), hiking trails nearby, and very quiet at night. We’ll definitely return.

Great place to come and stay. They have a awesome trail system, with lots of trails. The grounds are super clean and neat. The staff are helpful and keep up the place. The spots are spacious and tidy. We will be back to stay and recommend it. Your right down the street from Cave Creek, the old west town with lots of food and drinks all over the main strip, tons of shopping at the stores there as well.

This camp ground is amazing. Always clean and we have never had a hard time getting a spot. We have tent camped and brought our trailer here. The bathrooms and showers are nicely kept! There is lots of good hiking in the area and you have access to the city if you want.

About $32 per night.
Means full hookups and paved parking
Maximum number of camping days in a row at the same campsite is 14 days. You may camp an additional 14 days but it must be at a different campsite. Maximum of 28 days per month.
Yes they have 1 loop with full hook ups, and 2 with water sewer, check the website
40s/50s
Campsite rates do not change based on season and are $32/night year around.
They were open a few weeks ago. Camped for 5 nights around Christmas. If you want to go to camp definitely check the reservation site. It is a very popular campground.
Yes, we just camped there last weekend. You can reserve spots online.
I don't think it matters if you are in an RV or tent... The cost is the same $32. And yes, there are at least two shower/restroom buildings. Great park! https://www.campendium.com/cave-creek-regional-park
Yes, there is. Both AT&T and Verizon were acceptable.
I dont think it matter what size of your TV but likely restrictions on how loud. Thr maximum time allowed on any one site is either 14 or 15 days. You can change sites but need reservations at least a few months ahead of time.
I think it's about $30 a night. You must reserve your place far in advance. Je pense le coute et $30 une nuit.
Yes and yes, although it does get pretty empty In the Heat of the summer it is open year-round and dogs your man's best friend so I of course they're welcome
I had to call. I couldn't find a website.
Yes, check out the Maricopa County website to make campground reservations (including the ability to select specific sites)
Yes but very reasonable saying it's a quiet peaceful place with electric hook-up
I don't remember any restrictions on metal detectors, but posted signs say not to take plants, rocks or anything else from the park. I expect if you are looking for change, a playground would be a gold mine compared to Cave Creek Recreation Area. It's just desert, but good luck!
If you register in the office it is $32. If you make a reservation online it is $40.
They are allowed on the trails as long as they are on a leash... so you shouldn't have a problem at the camp ground.
The county allows campers to stay for 2 weeks max
