MGM Liquor Warehouse in Mound Minnesota has everything I'm looking for, from the unusual to the mundane. My regular beer Rolling Rock is there for an occasional Vikings loss. A huge array of beers from every angle you can think of, housed in a very large and well-lit cooler section at the rear corner of the store. Cold or warm beer is available in cases. Check the aisles in the beer area for specials. An absolutely HUGE selection of wines, so many-it's crazy. I can find the lower-priced wines I use monthly for cooking at this store, ***when I cannot at other liquor stores in Mound MN. (fyi) Specialty drinks, seltzers, juices, salts, spritzers and mixes are available. Plastic cups, stirrers, holiday specials too. Small containers to throw in a beach bag or backpack. I like the checkout lanes that have everything in mini sizes from A to Z. Ice in bags is available, not the huge hunks you get at the grocery store, more small cubes for cocktails. Pop is also available for mixers. MGM has a large selection of whiskeys and other hard liquors like Vodka, Rum, Brandy, Gin, Tequila, Scotch, Bourbons and off-brand liquors. Sometimes there are specials on kiosks in aisles, watch for your brand there. Different brands with different price points makes this a great place to shop. Shopping carts are available if you're the one running for the party. The building itself is huge and located in a small strip mall area directly off the main drag. There is a large lot with a good amount of parking (traffic is busy in this area, drive slow). The only down thing I'd say is- I think the store could use new flooring. My personal: American & Mexican Beers, easy-drinking wines and light champagnes, ie: Pink Moscato by Barefoot Bubbly, a refreshing splash which I discovered goes great in cooking when you need it in a pinch. I also like frozen-chilled Fireball in a tiny container for an occasional kick. I hunt for delicious Chardonnay and Cabernet Souvignon wines (recommend Columbia Crest) to pair with food, or to use in cooking. A sip of either with a great pasta dish is the best. Either way, it's always a win when you shop at MGM.

We purchased a couple of bottles of nice wine for Christmas dinner. One was good and enjoyed by all. The other was undrinkable. It had turned musty and vinegary. The store offered no refund or exchange on a $50 bottle of wine that went bad.

Great selection of beer and alcohol. Would have given 5 stars if they had a public bathroom.

Nothing special yet nothing complicated. Friendly staff. Decent prices. Good selection.
